We want to know if you can add some extra tasks or functionality to the component

On your demo you have a filter for searching files by name, based on our requirements we need the filter to search by different options such as date or author?

If its not possible, can you modify or adjust the component for this requirements? if it is possible how much extra with it cost or how difficult this could be?

The filter isn't searching only by name, but on (title, artist, genre, filename):

if (($commfilter == '') || (($commfilter != '') && ((mb_stripos($retarr['title'],$commfilter) !== false) || (mb_stripos($retarr['artist'],$commfilter) !== false) || (mb_stripos($file,$commfilter) !== false) || (mb_stripos($retarr['genre'],$commfilter) !== false)))) {
...

I can add date there, but don't think that it's good idea, because have to be changed if You add modifications into file (it's ID3 tags, for example).
