Thank you for making this component I think it will do a great job for what we need. I do have a couple of questions.

1. How do I change/override the download icon?
2. How do I remove the “Download: #” from the download?
3. How can I update the database every week? We upload a sermon every Sunday and want to update the database once we upload it. Is there a URL I can use to trigger the update to the database?

1. You can to change the download icon in Commedia content plugin options. This option called 'Primary download Image' and 'Alternative download Image'. They're for both lines in Commedia table.
2. Set 'Show Downloads Count' to Off in the same options.
3. I didn't understand about updating. If You want to reset rating value to zero every week, You should to set Voting limit to 'Week' and Results Summary to 'NO' in Commedia content plugin options.

If You want to clear all information from the Database You should to do it manually using Commedia - Elements menu item in Main menu in Administration panel.

3. We have about 200 mp3 files in our folder so it takes a long time to load if I do not use the database. How can I have it rescan the folder for new items?

You don't need to rescan the folder every time after You put new files there. It rescans automatically when user loads the page with {commedia} tags wich have path to that folder.

See how to use Commedia:

Simply put {commedia}path_to_Your_folder{/commedia} tags into Your article. It shows new files after You put them there.

How can I speed that up?

there are many files in that folder. Could You divide it? Or could You use database mode?

Database mode
