You can replace this file
plugins/content/commedia/commedia.php
and this
components/com_commedia/models/commedia.php

If You only correct
/plugins/content/commedia/commedia/style.css
You can use themes and change them (or Your own theme). Read here:

The update will not change Your files in that case.

I uploaded both files I am getting following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function comm_mobile_dev() in /home/user/public_html/plugins/content/commedia/commedia.php on line 52

Oh, i've forgot. You should to update that file too:

components/com_commedia/classes/functions.php

Please see if I have followed the instructions:

1. I extracted the .zip file you sent to me.

2. Uploaded following:

plugins/content/commedia/commedia.php

I could not find commedia.php in models folder and functions.php in classes folder.

Instead I found them in /site/models/commedia.php and /site/classes/functions.php.

I did replace all these files still getting an error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/user/public_html/components/com_commedia/classes/functions.php on line 856

I've just tested Commedia localy and don't have any errors. Hm... that's strange.
What version of Joomla do You have?

Don't You have "components" folder on Your site?

And in zip-archive yes there is folder called "site".
