Stephen Jones asked me:
Hi Thanks for letting me know about MP3 Browser. I was using it on my joomla 1.5 site and I didn’t know version £.0 was available. The only thing is I’ve got it set to Sort order – Desending but on the webpage its not in order it jumps about a bit.
I don’t know if you have an answer? The webpage is
www.hopechurchcrewe.com/3newjoomla/index.php/sermons
My answer is:
If we'll check the links to files on you site, they will be (beginning from
www.hopechurchcrewe.com):
3newjoomla/images/audio/archive/2010-08-22_HopeChurchCrewe.mp3
3newjoomla/images/audio/archive/2010-08-15_HopeChurchCrewe.mp3
...
3newjoomla/images/audio/2013-03-24_hopechurchcrewe.mp3
3newjoomla/images/audio/2013-03-17_hopechurchcrewe.mp3
...
3newjoomla/images/audio/12-08-05_hopechurchcrewe.mp3
So You have two folders:
images/audio and
images/audio/archive in it.
The mp3browser store full path to file (
$subdir.$file) when he scans the folders:
array_push($narray, urldecode(str_replace('\\','/',$subdir.$file)));
So the ordering is right.
You could disable "include subfolders" option in mp3browser and show Your subfolder
archive anything else on another page.
Or use
Commedia please. It store only filename in main array during it searching files in the folder. So the ordering by filenames will be much better than in
mp3browser new.
